		<description>Reading Hal Colebatch's recent collection, "The Light River,' (Connor Court, 2007) I was struck by the very different treatments of the sea in the two longest poems, "Red-Head with Phosphorus" anbd "The 'San Demetrio'." Both, however, seem to me to be "romantic", albeit in totally different ways. This is a very interesting collection, not only for these two long poems but the others it contains, and I would be very interested to know what other readers think.</description>
